Welcome to Dannyboy's Musky Crazy Guide Service!

Dan Lazzeroni has been fishing since he was a very young man. He started out fishing from a dam in his hometown of Delavan, Wisconsin. Back then, it was panfish, bullhead and an occasional carp. At the age of 10 Dan caught "Musky Fever" along the banks of the Eau Claire River near Augusta, Wisconsin. Since that day, Dan has chased the mighty fish at any chance he gets, catching several trophies along the way.

While in High School and College, Dan fished several lakes in Southern Wisconsin. These included Delavan Lake, Lake Geneva, Lauderdale Lakes, Whitewater Lakes and Turtle Lake to name a few. He chased bass, northern and often took out kids to enjoy the area lakes.

Along the way, several trips were made to Northern Wisconsin. This, of course, meant time chasing muskies almost exclusively while there. He fished lakes in Price, Iron, Ashland and Oneida Counties.

1997 brought marriage and a move to Forest County in the little town of Laona, Wisconsin. This meant many more chances at muskies which almost was a daily occurrence in the warm months of spring, summer and fall.

Dan was also lucky enough to marry Nicole and this led to the introduction to Lake Vermillion in Minnesota. In 2002 Lake Vermillion gave up Dan's largest musky to date,
a beautiful 52 inch spotted musky. Along with his lovely wife Nicole, Dan has three beautiful daughters, Halle Joan born in 2002, Malina Claudia born in 2003, Kya Page born in 2006.

Dan has been an active member of Muskies, Inc. Chapter 12 Headwaters Chapter in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Dan was elected to the Director Board in 2006. Also since Dan was 12 years old, Dan has been an active believer in "catch and release" for the mighty musky.
